The Motorola Milestone is the GSM version of Motorola Droid for Europe and other worldwide market. Available form 2009, this smartphone gets on board Android v2.1 Eclair OS (upgradable to Froyo). It can operate in quadband GSM (2G) and HSDPA or UMTS 3G network.
The phone sports a 3.7-inch touchscreen of 480 x 854 pixels. Display is sharp, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, and has pinch and zoom capability. It’s built less chunky weighing almost 6 ounces, taking account the slide out landscape QWERTY keyboard. There’s also a D-pad for additional control.

Motorola Milestone Android Operating System Software Update
To update your Motorola Milestone Android OS you’ll need Motorola Device Manager to use a USB cable to connect your Motorola phone or tablet to your computer. It’s automatically installed with MotoCast USB, but if you just want the Motorola Device Manager, you can download it below.

- Once the file is downloaded to your computer, double click it to install. Once Motorola Software Update (MSU) application installation is complete, launch the application using the shortcut from your Desktop. Once application is running, connect your phone to your PC via a USB connection. MSU should automatically detect your device within 60 seconds. Then follow the on-screen instructions to update your device.
