Samsung Galaxy Rush M830 Specifications Review
Samsung Galaxy Rush M830 sports a 3.5” TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels (165 ppi pixel density). Despite its small size, the phone actually has an attractive design with round corners that makes it comfortable to hold. The screen has good brightness but the images, of course, won’t be as sharp as those on the higher resolution screens. The virtual keyboard has good accuracy, so it will ease you in typing. Smaller fingers will do better with it. The multitouch support makes it easier to operate the phone via touchscreen. Standard features like Accelerometer and Proximity sensor are also included.
The Galaxy Rush runs on Android v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system. You can update the ICS series to Android™ 4.1 Jelly Bean. 1 GHz Scorpion processor, Adreno 205 GPU, and 768 MB of RAM are the ones which are responsible for the phone’s performance. It works well enough, although there are some notable lags while operating the phone. It can handle basic tasks without any serious problems. The Galaxy Rush only provides 2 GB of internal storage, which is too small if you plan to save lots of media files in the phone. Thankfully, it allows you to add extra space by using external memory card (up to 32 GB). For the connectivity, it has a variety of options including Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n; Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP; and microUSB v2.0.
The main 3.15 MP camera is attached on the back of the phone. It features autofocus, Geo-tagging, touch focus, smile detection, white balance, shooting modes, scene modes, additional effects and video recording capability. Of course you can’t expect something superb with this modest phone. But at least there are many camera features that you can have experiment with. A secondary 1.3 MP camera is also available on the front panel. You can use it to take self-portraits or make a video call.
There are many other features available in this phone, such as: GPS with A-GPS support; Digital compass; Email; Push Email; Instant Messaging; HTML; SNS integration; MP3/WAV/WMA/AAC+ player; MP4/WMV/H.263/H.264 player; Google Search; Maps; Gmail; YouTube; Google Talk; Document viewer; Photo viewer/editor; Organizer; Voice memo; Voice dial; Predictive text input; and more.
